The interdepartmental football tournament at NTPC Barauni concluded on 25.09.2022. The final match was played between Superkings and Maintenance Warriors with team from services (Superkings) winning the tournament.

On the occassion, friendly football matches between HOP XI and GM (O&M) XI , kids of all age groups and throwball match of ladies were also organised.

HOP Barauni Shri Ramakanta Panda was the chief guest for the ceremony and President Maitri Ladies Club Smt Niva Panda, GM O&M Shri Anil Shrivastava, GM Maintenance Shri Surajit Ghosh , GM Project Shri Manoj Dubey , Senior members of Maitri Ladies Club also graced the occassion.

HOP Barauni along with other senior officials handed over the winners and runner up trophy to the respective teams and said that sports is an important way to build team spirit and congratulated all players for good sportsmanship.

HODs, employees and their family members were present in large numbers and enjoyed the occassion.
